It’s official! Spees-EHSI JV LLC has been verified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Earlier this year, EHSI entered the Mentor-Protégé Program with Spees, LLC a SDVOSB. EHSI will be the mentor and offer our protégé Spees LLC technical assistance, contracting assistance, business development assistance, and management guidance as Spees LLC grows and expands their business into the federal market. The SBA has approved the Mentor-Protégé Agreement and accepted the firms into the All Small Mentor-Protégé Program (ASMPP). Spees LLC is a design-build construction and engineering company. The firm has managed construction projects for the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in various locations and was recently awarded two VA VISN 21 SDVOSB Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQs) contracts one for Master Planning and the other for Design. Spees LLC founder Ray Spees is a native of the Pacific Northwest with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Washington. Ray is a certified professional engineer and active member of the Society of Military Engineers (SAME). During his time in the military Ray was a Sargent in the US Army where he supervised over $26M in development projects across five districts in Afghanistan.
